Refurbishment of G2L 4 Story 5-bed home
This property was purchased in 2023, a 4 story mid terrace Grade 2 listed home which was in desperate need of updating. The property’s previous owners renovated it in the 1980’s, so as you can appreciate it was in need of some serious attention. The property is in a Central location in a large Town. From a full new rewire, a new kitchen, new bathrooms, plastering through out as well as repairs to other areas the property was not an easy renovation.
The property was sold in 2025 with a local family now able to call this stunning property home.

The project …

How it Began
The property was crying out to be brought up to modern standards. It still had an old “wired” fuseboard from the 1960s and woodchip wallpaper was everywhere. The carpets (while you could see were expensive in their day, were worn and thin) bathrooms and kitchen from the 80’s damp and water ingress was considerable.

During the conversion
The property was brought up to modern standards, in line with all Listing Consent laws.

How it looks now…
A stunning family home, set over 4 floors with oak wooden floors. A brand new traditional look dark navy kitchen with a range cooker and hidden fitted appliances to give the impression of an older style kitchen. The bathrooms have a roll top free standing bath with traditional sink, toilet & showers. Added to the light fittings and other furniture it was a stunning transformation
